A walk up the clover hill
Or down the starfish beach
To the end of the lakefront pier
And back again
Through the bayberry park
Instead of around
These little things
They renew us like the seasons
Gently spading the rich topsoil
Sowing chestnut seeds
And pouring living water
Dripping from our leaves
Finding a new rivulet
A stone bridge yet uncrossed
These little things
They help us finish our reasons
